Thomas G. Fries
     Thomas Gene Fries, 65, formerly of Highland, went to find peace with his Lord on Monday, September 26, 2016, at Bethel Care Center in Arpin, WI. Thomas was born January 8, 1951, to the late Roland and Dorothy Fries. He married Sandra Cypher and to this union three children were born. Thomas was a long time employee of Goodyear and Seats Inc. until disability from a car accident prevented his further employment. Prior to his move to Arpin, Thomas enjoyed leading the parish in rosary and participating in Ss. Anthony & Phillips Parish Choir in Highland as well as previously fishing and gardening prior to his disability. He especially spent happy hours with his pet birds and favorite dog Rascal. He also spent many years in the liquidation business with his friend Wanda Read. Thomas led the rosary and sang for the main body at Bethel Care Center in Arpin.
     Thomas is survived by three children, Jennifer (Doug Ballweg) Guzman of Lyndon Station, Rachel (Jesse) Mericle of Lyndon Station and Rebekah (Mark Jantz) Raschke of Marshfield; six grandchildren, Christian, Anthony, Catana, Timothy, Skyler and Chritiana along with one expected in Nov. He is further survived by his fiancé, Jaylene Haupt of Arpin and best friend, Wanda Read of Orfordville, as well his sisters, Linda (Verdon) Weber of Cuba City, Marlene (Bob) Saluzzi of LaCrosse, and brother Roger (Carolyn) Fries of Cuba City as well as many nieces and cousins and friends.

     A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 P.M. Sunday, October 2, 2016 at Ss. Anthony & Philip Catholic Church in Highland. Fr. Jim Murphy will officiate with burial in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Mineral Point. Friends may call at the church on Sunday after 11:30 A.M.
