A long time ago on a field trip with school, we visited an art museum in Madison, WI. Ever since that day when I saw a painting of "FLANDERS FIELD" with a lot of poppies in it, I have totally loved poppies - both to grow and color and make cards out of. I am not really the best at doing Shabby Chic but I do hope you like the overall card and sentiment.
Come show us your love of a SHABBY CHIC card and inspire US!!
Today's challenge at OUTLAWZ GREETING CHALLENGE is for you and myself to use black and white on your project and ONLY ONE OTHER COLOR. I chose red. This sweet fella is from ALL DRESSED UP and the name of the image is CUTER THAN CUTE. Click on the links to find your own - believe it or not - he is FREE! We all love free!
As you can see, everything is basic die cutting layers and putting them together and pulling a few rub ons out of my stash. I colored him with my copics and prismacolors.
The red eye is to resemble how often dogs' eyes are so large you can see their vein structure........at least in my puppy you can.
I totally am in love with ALL DRESSED UP IMAGES!!!
COME ON OVER TO OUTLAWZ GREETINGS CHALLENGE today - get some ideas from our wonderful design team members and enter the challenge with the possibility of some wonderful prizes for you!

AS we enter a new year, its time to
think back on last year and look ahead to the new memories we are going to make. Look ahead to what we want to accomplish.
Will it be a year to make big changes, little changes or keep the
status quo. YOUR SCRAPBOOK PLACE is starting the new year off right with a great challenge - and what a wonderful sponsor wants to help us out.
project can be any crafty thing you make or alter. You can make a
sweater, do a scrapbook page, alter a box, book, candle, etc. You can
also make a card. But you must follow our simple rule OF THE FACT, You
must have made it. Do not use any one else's work please.
And remember anything goes. Now here is my entry at YOUR SCRAPBOOK PLACE. Just click on the link and see what everyone else is doing and enter your own in our Mr. Linky at the bottom of their page.
I have been named one of the 5 Honorable Mentions in Stamps by Aurora Wings' for this artwork: http://scrappingheaven.blogspot.com/2014/03/peace-be-with-you.html
