Sponsor: Fitztown
Theme: Anything Goes
The Design Team at OUTLAWZ GREETINGS CHALLENGE AS ALWAYS really brought out some beauty in this challenge:  ANYTHING GOES!  Who doesn't love that theme - it doesn't get any easier.  Just add a sentiment to participate in this challenge.

I chose Cameo 1 from FITZTOWN and pulled from my papers some paper I interlaced to create a different background - very much like weaving 2 sheets of designer paper together to get something different.   A bit of vintage lace that I collect and some special placement of my sentiment and wallah my 5.75x5.75 card is complete.
Come on over to OUTLAWZ GREETINGS CHALLENGE and join me with anything goes.  Just use a sentiment and you are eligible for prizes!

SFC2114-RRR-make a square card
(Yes, my card is truly square - it's an optical illusion.)
This image comes from the SQUIGGLEFLY SHOP and is
from one of our new artists - Niina Niskanen - who just joined us in May.
Unicorn - Niina Niskanen

I kept this unicorn in sepia colors the best I could.  Then I adorned with some treasured buttons from my stash, mounted on some bronze mirrorcard from THE PAPER CUT and some beautiful ribbon!  The card measures 5.75x5.75 to allow for mailing at the less expensive rate.

Come on over to SQUIGGLEFLY CHALLENGE and try your hand at winning a free stampset.  Show off your talent too - anything goes but make the card square and use an image from SQUIGGLEFLY - don't forget there are FREEBIES there too!

Our challenge these 2 weeks is sponsored by QKR Stampede
Prize: 5 Digital images
And here is our sketch!
I chose the Waving Flag to complete my card - keeping the patriotism colors in vintage colors including the flag and it's die cuts.  The ribbons were a bit bright so I used Vintage Photo DI on them to achieve my final results.

Slam Dunk Duncan - Dad's Day

Sponsor: Dr. Digi
Theme: Masculine - Armed Forces Day

Sometimes it's just difficult to do a masculine card - so here was a challenge for me.  Being basketball lovers in our family, following the BULLS lately, I instantly found Slam Dunk Duncan and began to plan this 5.75x5.75 card.
A mixture of lines and a special sentiment for Dad on Father's Day rounded out my card.  I hope you are already preparing a surprise for the man in your life come Father's Day.  I always do!

Come on over to OUTLAWZ GREETINGS CHALLENGE and show your card with a masculine image and a sentiment on it.  Be eligible for winning prizes.  You have to enter to win remember....just like the lottery!

Stars Over the Bay

OUTLAWZ GREETINGS CHALLENGE team has prepared some gorgeous cards in the Water Theme using Lacey Sunshine's images and I chose "Wix Moonlight Bay".  There is a lot of sparkle on this card and as usual it's difficult to make it all pop thru camera usage.
I used my copics in the coloring of this 5.75x5.75 card and then found what I thought was the perfect bg dp to emphasize water waves.  The ribbon is preruffled and came from a friend of mine.  I hope you can come on over to OUTLAWZ GREETINGS CHALLENGE and join us with a card of your choice in the theme of water and using a greeting of some kind on the front of it.  Better yet, I hope your card is drawn for the award from Lacey Sunshine's shop.

At the Squigglefly Shop this week there are several new images being released.  Two wonderful artists are being introduced also....... Niina Niskanen and James Horvath.  I have the pleasure of introducing one of James Horvath's drawings - Dog Artist.

The Squigglefly Challenge Blog has a RUN FOR THE BORDER challenge up for the week - add something to the border of your card, be it a punch, a piece of ribbon, some lace, decorative paper strips from any company who make them - or in my case I created my own border.
   Dog Artist - James Horvath
Image was colored with copics and mounted with various pet background papers.  Come join us at Squigglefly this week - please use a Squigglefly image and be eligible for winning a darling stampset of your choice.

Here's the sketch for us to use - WOO HOO!
So here's my take on the sketch:
And here's the interior already matted and ready for best wishes with a gift!  This sweet gal reminds me so much of my youngest daughter as she graduated from nursing school with her Bachelor's!  Her hair, the smile (those teeth!) and those bright eyes - to this day she's still the sweet loving nurse that everyone has wonderful things to say about - over 20 years of nursing now!!!!
So let's see how you handle the sketch - it's such an easy sketch - a no-brainer most people call it!

Get ready to wish your graduates of your area and your family wonderful thoughts on their way into the adult world!!!
