We definitely have enough snow in Southwestern WI, USA, and we have a lot of snowmen, snow forts, snow trails - you name it we have it if it's made of snow!  I even saw some purple smurfs sitting on a snow sofa!  These 2 weeks, SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY is being sponsored by Robyn's Fetish.
Prize: 5 digi images
I chose the snowman to duplicate and show him eventually being hidden in more snow and more snow.

And one more - cuz it's close to Valentine's Day!

What do you think?  Do you use digis?  One of the beauties beside the fact they take up so little room on your computer, is that they can be shrunk or multiplied and then colored and placed on a card or 2.  So come on over to  SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY - follow the sketch with your own image and let's see your rendition of this lovely sketch.

Holley's Hobbyists at SQUIGGLEFLY BLOG have challenged us with "SFC0413 Have a Heart, Please!".  With Valentines right around the corner, add a heart shape to your card. You could even make your heart shaped! It can be a die cut, an embellishment, a brad....or use that Coluzzle as I did!

I chose to use a coluzzle plate to cut my  heart shaped card - and double mount until finally ending up placing the whole card on a large heart shaped doily!  Doesn't get more heart than that, does it?
I have had a love affair with cats almost all of my life.  Each of them has had a special 'cattitude' about them too.  And then there are the eyes of a cat - they simply mesmerize me.  I colored this sweetie with copics again - cool grays and added a little pink around her nose and mouth.  This cat image is so darling and it's by Enid Barnes, new to  Squigglefly.  You can catch all of Enid's images here by clicking:  CHECK OUT ENID'S IMAGES...especially the owl!!!

A GIRAFFE!  Want to know a bit more - just click on the word GIRAFFE!  I love giraffes, I am a very short person and when I go to the zoo I am always amazed at the height of these awesome creatures.  Have you ever seen 2 giraffes fighting with each other by throwing their heads and necks around at the other?
SQUIGGLEFLY BLOG has an awesome challenge this week - just make a CLEAN AND SIMPLE card using a SQUIGGLEFLY image.   This image is:  GIRAFFE HEADSHOT
Both cards are a bit over 4"x4".
RRR-SFC0314-Make a Clean And Simple Card
Image created by Enid Barnes and sentiment is from my rubber stamps.

Enid Barnes is our new artist at Squigglefly.  Her images are realistic and are done in an artistic technique called pointillism.  Didn't she do a great image in the giraffe.  Made it every easy to color with copics as well.  So come and join me and get in on this challenge.  The winner of the random generated no. will be allowed to select her own image from Squigglefly!

Just me again!

Just a quick note.  A few of you have  been asking about my latest surgery and how I'm feeling; so how about a quick post using one of my favorite images from Squigglefly?!!!  This lovely orchid was colored with my copics.

On Tues. 1/7/14 I had a RETROCALCANEAL HEEL SPUR REDUCTION OF REPAIR OF ACHILLES TENDON.  You can see a video of one on you tube by clicking on the link.  Warning: I can't even watch it all.  But it will be weeks of care and casts and boots and crutches and a knee walker to get me going again.  I'm glad it was done tho.  No hesitation there.

But if something can happen to me, it will certainly happen.  The day of my pre-op appt. I was waiting in the waiting room with a lady who was coughing her lungs and tubes out.  It was horrid.  Finally a nurse removed her.  I swear at that point I got a virus that infected my bronchial tubes and I've been fighting a great case of bronchial pneumonia now.

So the word is, my posts are scheduled.  I'm still here.  Email me if you wish.  Just know I care about each of you.  Hugs!  Linda

Have you seen the new challenge at SQUIGGLEFLY'S BLOGSPOT?  If not, check out this first and then hop on over and enter your project.

First off, Holley's Hobbyists want us to start off the year with a wide open challenge.  We need to show our favorite work and anything fun that you got for Christmas, that new die cutter, some fun new papers, a great new marker, some beautiful brads. In reality, ANYTHING GOES on this challenge!  I can't wait to hear about it, nor can SQUIGGLEFLY

Ok, fulfilling the challenge, first of all, the crown on Happy Flower Bear's head represents the actual crown I received from a lovely friend to hang over to my craft area - she tells me I'm the scrapbooking queen.  Oh well, I love the crown...not sure I deserve to be the queen tho.  Another lady piffed me the lovely spellbinders nesties that you see Flower Bear mounted on.  Awesome, huh?

I chose the Flower Bear because I got this beautiful gift set of PLEASURES perfume and lotion from Estee'.  I also received 31 BAGS and knitted cowl - how awesome too!  But I could see my perfume perhaps smelling even better than Bear's flowers!

I used a simple card 5.5x5.5 folded on the left.  Colored solely with copics.  Background is chalk in a light salmon.  Decorated inside with plenty of room for a note!

We'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.  So play along and possibly win some great digi images - your choice

My daughter leaves on vacation in February and I thought this card a great one to surprise her with. The image is from SCRIBBLES DESIGNS.  A 5.5 x 5.5 (reflecting my new resolution to cut down the size of my cards for mailing).

I followed the SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY sketch using a new Spellbinder Die I got at Christmas from a friend!  I had no way of printing out 'bon voyage' so I wrote with my gold/orange Smooch!  Luv those little babies!
A quick look at a simple inside where I can send some private wishes (and cautions as Mom)!
Another team, Creative Card Crew will also be using this sketch and everyone can use it to enter both challenges!  So come on over and enter your rendition of the sketch at both sites and get ready for a possible win!!!!

And if you are going on a trip this winter, BON VOYAGE to you also.

Squigglefly's FIRST challenge for 2014!
 RRR-SFC0114-Emboss a Thank You...
Let's send out a thank you for that special gift---and
for an extra challenge--Emboss something on
your card-dry emboss or heat emboss.
Now available on the Squigglefly Shop Site!
I think this is so darling - as if to say WHOOPS! you were so kind to me
and I forgot to send you a THANK YOU!

How often these days does anyone send thank you cards - I know I still love to.
But I'm afraid it's a dying art among our younger generation (those 30 and less).
Inside of card with lots of room for thank you note.  The die cut my daughter did for me on her Cricut.
My 2nd version using the same image and scrap papers.  Instead of embossing I chose
to stamp "Thanks so very much!" from my CTMH stamp set.
And again, the interior of that card with lots of room.  Come on over to SQUIGGLEFLY'S BLOGSPOT and join in the challenge; take a chance on wining some free digis from SQUIGGLEFLY!
