with FRED SHE SAID'S images and THE PAPER CUT's blank cards!

It's sweet to think you can actually fold these Funky Fold Accordion folds flat.
I chose Blu Raspberry for a lovely back drop and many images from the FRED SHE SAID collection.  The deer on the right are a punch from Impression Obsession and are simply beautiful and easy to punch.
There are rubons and matted photos of images, some are precolored, some are not.  So easy to make Christmas cards this way.
I don't know about you but I do know I have enjoyed making Christmas cards more this year than ever.  Be sure to stop over at FRED SHE SAID for an image and at THE PAPER CUT for your prescored cards for a very nice price.

WOW!  Have you seen Squigglefly's Blogspot challenge today?!!!  Your challenge for the next 7 days is to:  Make a card or project that has a banner added to it  or use an image with a banner. I had a problem with the banner idea so just stamped some Christmas sentiments on some die cuts I have - I also sprayed the die cuts with some wonderful glimmer mist!
I am really getting into the mood of Christmas using some of THE PAPER CUT's precut/prescored cards providing just that little dab of motion to make your recipient grin upon receipt!
I used PRAYING HANDS by artist Pamela Lehto from Squigglefly's newest releases.  I loved the way the bayberry leaves and fruit curled up around and immediately thought of a card which would delight an older friend we have.

Colors used are all from The Paper Cut:  Blush Print background and various mats of Gumdrop Green, Red Mirricard and Basis Green.  But again in my mad desire to get more Christmas cards created, I decided to just duplicate a 2nd one with a different NEW image from Squigglefly !   This image is WINTER BIRDS by image artist Carmen Gamble.

Only 1 month to  Christmas Day - come join us at Squigglefly's Challenge Blog and enter a card using a Squigglefly image to be eligible to win a free stampset in the random drawing on Dec. 1!

Prize: 3 digi's of winner's choice
2 sheets of winner's choice
Kenny K images

Here's my rendition using the 3 images from Kenny K's Designs:

I shrunk the images to about 2x2 and colored with copics; then some double mounting with some fun paper and some precut paper lace.  I found that cute sentiment on Ginger's House a long time ago.  So then I cut out some of the words from another sheet and plopped them over the top of the layout.  The entire card is a 6x6.

Come on over to SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY and participate in the blog challenge going on now!  Just click the link.......and have an awesome day!

A BEE HIVE OF FUN and Holley's Challenge!

I saw this digi and totally fell in love with it! I'm a quilter and I guess the stamp just reminds me of it. My daughter has the nickname of "QUEEN BEE" and wow, she deserves to be! Ever watch how bees can be so busy they don't even see you staring at them! Ever see a swarm of bees in a tree - I saw a magnificent one and it seemed to veritably move like a mass against the tree trunk.
Our challenge these next 2 weeks is to use a Squigglefly image with ribbon or lace on it - can be the real fabric ribbon/lace or it can be paper!  I have also used the Scallop Circle Swinging Z Fold card - all precut for me.  All I had to do was use images and paper and some beautiful ribbon/flower and copic coloring.  Come join me at Squigglefly's  Blogspot and take a tour thru The PAPER CUT studio at some fun card samples there!

FRED SHE SAID and EMMA on the Outer Stair Steps!

WHO'S THAT WITH THE SNOWBALL?? Dear sweet Emma over at FRED SHE SAID's store!
How cool is this - you can have Emma wearing a different wardrobe on a different card!
I have finally found me forte' - I totally love designing with these stair step cards!  I actually made up 6 cards in 6 different varieties of colors.  Emma is on one step and there is a lovely pine tree backdrop of snow and fir behind her on another step!  The large tree in front is fussy cut and adhered to an overlay embossed with Swiss Dots using both the White Linen papers and the White Gold papers.  The outer stair step card comes to you totally cut and scored - you need only fold per simple instrux on the flyer included - all from THE PAPER CUT!  Each card will stand on its own for quality display of your beautiful craft work!

You know what?  You would love to meet Sarah - the sweetest owner of a paper shop that I know.  She will answer all your questions and help you get started with your first project using her supplies.

For sometime I've been putting up with a lumbar problem. Well at the time that Sketch 51 at SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY was due in their challenge, I totally forgot that I had 2 photos to put in that challenge. Truly I was in severe pain, on prednisolone and muscle relaxers. So I do have an excuse. So I thought it proper I would put this up today!   I really loved making this Front Stair Step Card - mostly because of the fact there is plenty of room to be creative!
Inside Sentiment

The brick wall is from a Tim Holtz Cuttlebug folder and the interior on only the front size of the folder has been painted and was wet at the time of embossing.  It's just another great idea to use with your Cuttlebug/Big Shot folders!  The flowers are from my stash as well as the ribbon and butterfly in the upper right corner.

Come on over to SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY and join in on Challenge 52, you cold be a winner of several images!!!

If you are looking for a quick way to create cards, hop on over to THE PAPER CUT - that's where I got my prescored and precut Front Stair Step Card.

And tomorrow I go to orthopedics to begin some course of treatment to keep my spine young!

What hops around on a pogo stick in the middle of winter but can never go inside with it? Give up - POGO THE SNOWMAN!  This awesome digi is at Squigglefly's store. now and he would be an awesome addition to your stamp collection!

I used a BLU RASPBERRY SCALLOP CIRCLE SWINGING Z FOLD Card from the PAPER CUT company here in Wisconsin!!!  I also matted with a bit of the same color in cs.

It is so much fun creating these Swinging Z fold cards - if you have tried some, please leave me a link to them.  I just love more and more ideas!  Thanks for visiting and don't forget to enter our challenge st SQUIGGLEFLYS BLOGSPOT.  And don't forget to browse thru THE PAPER CUT store's inventory!

This is Sketch 52 at SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY!!
We are looking back to Sketch 19 just for the fun of it and trying the same sketch with a new image.
We are also being sponsored by WHIMSY STAMPS (see below and DROOL!)
Comes with the following sentiments:
You're The Catch of the Day

I dearly love Maddie and I used to fish every free moment I could.  Now I love only 4 miles from the best bass fishing stream and don't ever go!  Well Maddie got a great catch.  And I know you can too, by following the SALS sketch  and using any image you wish.  Hope you enjoyed the Flashback and I hope you are inspired to join us at SEEMS A LITTLE SKETCHY!

Holley's 'crew' has presented a fun challenge for our first Monday in November (SFC4413)!!!  Make a card "using a Squigglefly image" with a square somewhere - it can also be just a square card or a square tag.  Well I found some awesome square checked designer paper in my stash and all the creativity then unfolded.
The interior of the card says:  "You make my heart go putt putt"!  That link will take you directly to a fantastic Valentine/Love stampset by Lynne Stansbery - a total of 8 awesome images!  I loved that purchase and dearly need to make up some more cards with it!

My card is actually a Scallop Circle Swinging Z Fold Card in the color of Grape Jelly.  Doesn't that color sound so yummy!  All of the products I have had the pleasure to design with from The Paper Cut are just the easiest way to make action cards!

So check in on the Squigglefly store, then hop on over to THE PAPER CUT and order a new set of card supplies, and return to the Squigglefly Blogspot and enter our challenge.  Sarah has super prompt mailing - and you have 2 weeks to enter the challenge!  And can you tell I love lavender shades!!
