Last evening a dear friend of ours in Missouri told us his first scout came to the feeders. By scout I mean hummingbird scout! It won't be long and he'll have hundreds at his feeders everyday. They feed two 72 oz. feeders a day at the peak of the season for those gorgeous little hummers. But they are so rewarding! We usually only get a couple pair here in Wisconsin, but here are some awesome pictures of what happens when they do arrive! The first photo turned out beautiful - the hummer looks so stoic. He's real for sure! That's my hubby up close and personal with them in the 2nd photo...note the hummer on the left side of the feeder. And yes, that's an oriole feeder - it seems these particular hummers didn't care if it was red or orange!
